USDA announces $25M in Conservation Innovation Grants

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced the availability of approximately $25 million in FY 2010 through its Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG). CIG projects are  designed to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. CIG, a component of NRCS's Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), is administered by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
