Kerry-Boxer climate bill opens opportunities and questions for forestry

The climate proposal unveiled by Sens. John Kerry (D-MA) and Barbara Boxer (D-CA) this week provides significant opportunities for domestic offsets from carbon-storing conservation projects, but the extent to which forests and forest products would participate is not entirely clear.
