European demand for biomass expected to increase 44 percent by 2020
Posted on Tuesday, July 12, 2011Demand for biomass in Europe is expected to increase by 44 percent in the next 10 years, according to a report released by RISI, a research firm for the forest products sector. The increased use of biomass will be driven principally from the energy sector, but also from the industrial and residential sectors.
